The host was incredibly kind. On the first evening, they drove me to a supermarket and helped get my luggage out to the taxi. As for the house itself, it was nothing special, and the washing machine was broken.

Construction work went on every day. Only book this place if you’re fine with being woken at 7:50 am by drilling.

I live in one of these places. The renovations are needed because the sea breeze brings salt that corrodes everything. If you don’t want to wake up to drilling, come during peak season or head down to the beach, where all you’ll hear is the sea.

It was a terrible experience. There’s no air conditioning, and the room feels like a sauna at night. The fans don’t circulate the air, and the beds are disgraceful. It’s unhygienic, and I wouldn’t recommend it. Zero stars.

A nice spot near the beach, with good transport connections and bars and shops close by.
