Cala Merced 15 the best there is

My parents have had an apartment here for 16 years, and we still love coming. My son enjoys it even more, playing with the other children. There’s a pool, park, sports courts, gym, and games room, so it works well for kids and adults. The beach is only steps away, though it could be looked after better. That’s down to the local council, I suppose. One drawback in peak season is that some holiday rental owners don’t look after or respect the place. And Cala Mercé is a residential area, not a hotel complex, despite how it’s been classified.

People walking and local fishermen use this cove, but it isn’t really suitable for swimming. It leads to the so-called port of La Merced, a port project that never amounted to much. What remains is shallow, murky water and a few boats moored at the bottom.

There’s an enclosed garden with a main pool and a children’s pool, plus a tennis court and playground. The Cala La Merced apartment complex also has underground parking and four elevators. Some of the apartments have roof terraces.

Beautiful, spotless, and very well kept.
