Chalet Bon Sol

It’s an easy, comfortable walk past the tram station to a big sandy beach, and trams run regularly to Alicante and Benidorm. The campsite itself is small and well cared for. Reception was really kind and helpful, and the facilities were excellent and very clean. In March, one night for a motorhome and two people without electricity cost 23€. I’d book a pitch ahead if you’re planning to stay.

Fuego at the campsite is 🔥🔥🔥🔥. The Sunday music at 4 pm is exceptional. We love the blues!

The bar and restaurant are lovely, with excellent food, and the toilets and showers were being cleaned constantly. It’s a cute, quirky campsite with reasonable prices, and the beach is about a five-minute walk down a hill. Most pitches are gravel, so bring padding if you’re putting up a tent. We paid for electricity but didn’t know Spanish campsites use a different socket, so we couldn’t connect. They didn’t offer a refund for the electric. Lots of pitches looked like they belonged to people staying all season. Also, check that your wine bottle hasn’t been opened before it’s served. Our first one had been opened and was disgusting, so we had to change it.

A tidy little base for a motorhome, with hot water and WiFi. Laundry costs €4. There’s a good beach nearby, and the tram station for Alicante and Benidorm is close too.
