Casa Sombrero de Pico A by Isla Bonita

We got around on foot for shopping even without a car, though there are only two buses a day in each direction, so plan to walk or drive. The place has great views from most rooms and sits between El Paso and Los Larnos. There's a small pool and sunbed area. It was listed as shared, but we had it to ourselves all week. Fantastic place to stay, and we'd definitely come back.

We stayed in house D for 10 days. It's a charming, 40-year-old country house that's been updated to suit our needs, and it was very clean. The outside was also kept spotless and in great shape. The kitchen had enough supplies for cooking for two, and I appreciated the little extras like dish soap, a sponge, and a dishcloth. The bathtub wasn't slippery. María quickly sorted out a few minor issues. The pool was relaxing, with slightly salty water at around 21 degrees Celsius in early April.

Apartment B worked perfectly for a couple, and the service was excellent. The kitchen is spacious, with a table and everything needed; there's also a living room with two armchairs, a sofa, TV, heater, and so on. The bedroom has two beds, which are 190 cm long, and a heater. The bathroom and bathtub were fine. Outside, the terrace has armchairs, a table, and a grill. It's well equipped without being fancy. Internet coverage was weak and sometimes absent. Take care driving in, as the roads are quite narrow.

We were there for a few days in early September and found the house really nice, spacious, and comfortable. We didn't get much sun, so hardly used the pool, but the outdoor space was perfect for enjoying the island. The service was very attentive. We'd happily stay again if we return to the island.
