Do your research before giving these people your money. They also manage Apartamentos Racimo, at Calle Espíritu Santo 34, and Apartamentos ALOHA 2, both in El Puerto de Santa María. They handed over the apartment in a deplorable state, and it seems this has been going on for years. Many comments mention them refusing refunds, which is how they’re making money through scams. 👍🏻

The apartment itself was in appalling shape: burnt plastic kitchen utensils, broken dishes, a microwave that hadn’t been cleaned, and disgusting mattresses and sheets. Cockroaches kept appearing in our apartment, like they weren’t paying their share. The location was great, though. The owner laughed while trying to kick us out for going down the stairs at 2:00 PM, then took part of our deposit, saying we’d left the stairs sticky, even though we were renting two ground-floor apartments. If you can speak to her without being yelled at, count that as a miracle.

The owner’s attitude was incredibly rude, and the whole stay was the worst experience I’ve ever had. She tried to throw us out halfway through our vacation because we’d gone down the stairs laughing at 2:00 PM. When one of my friends spoke to her formally, she even raised her hand toward him. There were 13 of us, staying six nights in three apartments. The rooms, cleanliness, and number of cockroaches were all appalling. The kitchen utensils were disgusting too. She kept our deposit, claiming we’d used the stairs and left them sticky. We tried to explain it wasn’t us, but she yelled and walked away without explaining anything. I’d give this zero stars if I could.

The terrace was lovely, though the awning had no canopy, so it couldn’t be used during the day. We also weren’t told about the construction in the area. It started in July, and we visited in October, so there was noise and dust and quite a few inconveniences. Once the work finished, though, the apartment was perfect for a few days. It’s right in the center of Puerto de la Cruz, with a side view of the castle. Parking is difficult. The place is well equipped and pet-friendly, the staff who helped us were very friendly, and the mattresses were good. The living room furniture is a bit worn but comfortable. I still give it 5 stars.
