Location and comfort were the only good things about the apartments. Check-in is almost 1 km away, and they hold a €150 deposit for each apartment you book. Even a bit of cleaning or fresh towels comes with a €50 surcharge. We’ve got used to being robbed at gunpoint, I suppose. Then there’s the standard 4pm check-in and 11am check-out. The whole setup leaves a lot to be desired.

For two days, the electricity kept tripping from the moment we arrived. We had no air conditioning at night, had to shower in the dark, and couldn’t charge our phones. I called reception about ten times on Thursday. They kept promising to send a technician, but nobody came. We waited a day, called again, and were told it would be handled urgently. Still no one showed up. Not recommended, very unprofessional and with no customer service.

The location was the only good thing. The sofa bed was so unstable that it partly folded the moment I lay down, so I had to sleep on it like that. There was a horrible smell from the bathroom next to the bedroom at night, making it impossible to sleep. There were three of us, but only the first person got hot water. The rest had ice-cold showers. At 10:45, with checkout at 11:00, the cleaner came in using her own key while we were at the door with our suitcases, getting ready to leave. She came back in while we were still inside and started rummaging through everything. Then she tried to blame us for damage that was already there, and we have photos. She kicked us out rudely. I absolutely don’t recommend this place. It couldn’t have been worse.

The service and treatment were deplorable throughout. We canceled our trip because of force majeure, with a storm hitting the province of Cádiz, and expected the hotel to refund us or let us reschedule. They refused, apparently thinking only of their own interests rather than other people’s safety. We’ll never stay there or recommend it to anyone.
