The drains made the room unbearable. There was a raw sewage smell from the shower and even the balcony as soon as we walked in. We told reception right away and asked to move, but they said the hotel was full. Someone came with chemical cleaner and poured it into the drains. It didn’t help at all, and the smell lasted our whole stay. Since they seemed to know that trick already, it felt like this was an ongoing problem they were masking instead of fixing. We were stuck in a disgusting room that felt impossible to live in. Parking was another mess. The garage sign said the height limit was 2 meters, but the receptionist insisted it was 1.9 and wouldn’t let us in, even though our car was 1.92m. We were only staying one night, so we asked to use the unloading area in front of the hotel until morning. They refused and said finding parking was our problem. Later, after dinner nearby, we found that area full of parked cars that clearly weren’t unloading anything. Either the staff had lied to us or they let some people ignore the rules. Neither is acceptable for paying guests.

Reception gave us a warm welcome, and we had a peaceful, pleasant night at this nice hotel.

There was no running water, so we couldn’t use the room at all. When I asked to cancel and get my money back, the request was ignored and no refund came through. My stay at Hotel Olympia Ronda II was a huge disappointment, and that treatment showed no respect for guests. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The food was good, and my room was clean and cozy when I stayed here before boarding my ship in Valencia. I tried going for a walk, but there was nothing interesting around, and the location isn’t the best. Still, it worked well for spending a night.

We paid a great price for one night on the way home. The hotel was spotless, the staff really nice, and the rooms big. There are loads of bars and restaurants nearby, so you could easily stay longer. 10/10.
