The beach is right behind Valhotel. Just go through the back gate and there’s a path to the local marina and supermarket. A bus stop is also right outside the front entrance for trips to Valencia. I was there for the 1st World Kayak Angling Championship in October 2024. My room was clean and comfortable, and the bed was remade daily. Reception staff were friendly and helpful, ordering taxis whenever we needed one. Sometimes they contacted four companies to find a suitable taxi. The restaurant food was excellent, even though the place looked like a school canteen, and nobody minded my attempts to speak Spanish. The bar staff were fun and happy to share a joke.

The garden bar had lots of drinks and some food available all day, and the buffet was nice too. Staff were extremely friendly. The garden was lovely and quiet, with direct access to the beach.

The pool area is excellent, with a playground for kids, and the hotel is right on the beach. We were there with our 1-year-old, and the staff were very accommodating. The restaurant team were friendly and helpful as well. Astroturf, trees and plants help keep the grounds clean and offer some natural shade. I’d recommend it for a relaxing, low-key week in the sun.

We stayed in November, out of season, and it was nice and quiet. The cafeteria serves three meals a day at a good price. The food is basic, but there’s plenty to eat. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the beds and pillows were especially comfortable.

Breakfast and dinner were great, with plenty to choose from, and the staff were great too. It’s a very nice hotel right on the beach, and it has its own outdoor pool. English can be an issue outside the desk, and the WiFi is super slow. Even with those drawbacks, I really liked staying here.
