Camping Sant Salvador

We only stayed one night, but we're already thinking of coming back next weekend. It's clean, quiet, and feels safe, right across from the beach. I loved waking up to the birds. We ate there too, and the pizza was cooked in a wood-fired oven right in front of us. There was a live show, and I think they have one every day. The woman singing on Saturday was fantastic. Definitely recommend eating there and staying here.

The accommodation was really nice, and being close to the coast made the location ideal. We had a pleasant three-day stay, though the service could have been more welcoming. Staff mostly reacted when we asked for something instead of taking initiative. Getting in and out was frustrating because we had to go to reception each time to have someone open the gate. Checkout was slow as well, with a long queue on our last day, so I left the keys at reception and drove off. Better hospitality and a properly working gate would make the stay much more enjoyable.

The beach is just across the road, and there was a kids' attractions park beside the campsite, which was very convenient. There are also plenty of restaurants nearby and things to see, including the Pablo Casals museum. My son had a great time in the kids' area, where the staff were well prepared. No pool, though. Our bungalow was clean, comfortable, and as expected, with air conditioning. The only problem was that using the oven cut the electricity. I saw comments about lots of cats, but there were some around and I wouldn't call it an infestation. The campsite was okay overall. I was worried after reading reviews, since people with bad experiences are more likely to post, but our family had a good time without any major problems. There are still some areas they could improve.

The bungalow was spotless, almost as if nobody had stayed there before us. It had a kitchen with the equipment we needed, though no kettle, plus a private shower and toilet, towels, and bed linen. We didn't get pillowcases. Reception spoke English well, and the staff were warm and welcoming. They dealt with any issues quickly, too. We're very glad we chose this campsite and have one more day here before heading home.
