The property canceled my fully paid reservation only a few days before I was due to arrive, so I had to scramble for somewhere else and pay much more. I still haven't got my money back, despite asking several times, including through the booking platform. Seeing that other people have had the same experience makes me seriously question how guests are treated. My stay never happened, but dealing with this was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. I'd be very cautious about booking, and would check the payment terms carefully if you do.

We had a lovely large room for the two of us and our big dog 🐕, with a corner balcony. The staff were great, and there are lots of cafes nearby without too much noise. This was our second visit, and we'd come back again.

We arrived at 10pm on 18/3 and found the hotel closed with nobody there. Before that, we'd booked one night through booking.com on 18/3 and got a message from the hotel around 6pm on 17/3 saying, "due to force majeure, our hostel will not be able to accommodate your reservation." Booking.com got back to us around 9pm and said, "the hotel have confirmed that it remains active and unchanged. They will be waiting for you on Wed, 18 Mar 2026." We took a photo and reported what happened, then called the hotel and sent WhatsApp messages, but got no reply. Booking.com customer service still told us to contact the hotel. By 11pm neither of them had answered, so we had to ask a friend who lives 20 km away to pick us up and put us up for the night. This was a horrible experience and we're very disappointed with the booking. The next morning, Booking.com emailed to say the hotel had canceled the reservation by midnight. I don't think the hotel deserves any stars for this.

It's a 35 Min Walk From Alicante Elche Hernández airport. Barbara was lovely, greeting us with big smiles and helping however she could. Thanks for looking after us while we were there, Barbara. We'll definitely be back!

They canceled my booking the day before the trip, gave no reason, and never refunded me. I can't recommend this place.
