Our flight changed, so they let us check in early. There was complimentary coffee in the room, a nice touch, and the accommodation was very clean. The other guests were friendly and we ate together on the terrace. The city tour was fantastic, and the accommodation matched its description. Excellent service, thank you.

We couldn’t travel to Elche because of the weather warnings, but they showed no understanding and enforced the cancellation terms without flexibility. More than 200 people died from similar causes less than a year ago. It seems some people don’t care about people’s safety and just want to keep making money from these events.

The apartment was quiet, clean, and just as the website described, close to the center too. Booking online was easy. We had a fantastic experience and will be back.

Once inside, the room turned out to be tiny, with just enough space for the bed. We were told it had a private bathroom, but it was shared with everyone else and not very hygienic. The fan, ceiling light, and TV didn’t work. Only the bedside tables seemed fine. The mattress was so uncomfortable that I could feel every spring. We were supposedly in the best room, Paris, and I don’t want to imagine the others. We had a Wi-Fi password, but no network appeared. Finding the building was difficult. One of the street numbers was missing, apparently fallen off and never put back, and construction below made it hard to see. We weren’t told what to do when we arrived. They didn’t answer our call, so we had to message them. After a while they replied that the door was open, though it wasn’t visible. We went up the stairs to the first floor. It’s a very old building with terrible steps and a very low ceiling. At the door were two boxes, and they told us to enter a code on one to get the keys.
