The owner had no interest in helping and came across as arrogant. I work for an MTB tour operator and stopped by to ask about accommodation for biking groups. I tried to communicate, including with Google Translate, but he replied, “sneezing shoulders,” said he wouldn't talk to me because I don't speak Spanish, and turned away. For the record, I'm not a fraud. I see and stay in lots of different places through my work, and this is a VERY bad place to stay. Choose somewhere else. Don't come here if you don't speak Spanish. Update after the owner's reply:

It did the job, but I won't remember it. Hotel Elizondo was clean and perfectly OK, just not especially charming or welcoming. Nothing specific to complain about, it was simply fine. 🤷

The breakfast had enough variety, and the rooms were simple but pleasant. A comfortable hotel in a beautiful town.

We'd stay again. The rooms are roomy, everything was clean, the staff were friendly, and the price was affordable.
