The food was just what I was hoping for, and really tasty: homemade pasta and chicken, then grilled chicken breast with patatas and egg. We got in late, and Maricruz greeted us with such a warm smile it felt like a hug. After a hot shower and a chance to relax, dinner was a treat. The room was clean, the water hot, and the service exceptional. It’s a lovely little hotel tucked into the mountains, so don’t expect a city stay. We had an amazing time and I’d come back on my next trip to Picos de Europa.

The hosts were friendly and attentive, and our beds were very comfortable. The inn sits in a beautiful spot in the spectacular Picos mountains of south west Cantabria, with breathtaking views all around. Rooms were very clean and the local food was excellent. It’s a great base for mountain and water sports, local culture, and sightseeing. Recommended.
