Breakfast comes with the price, and there’s parking on the property, though payment is in cash. It’s a charming inn with a big garden, and the facilities, service, and cleanliness were excellent. Mar was so kind and attentive to every detail.

The grounds are lovely, though breakfast was very meager. Of the eight rooms, four face the road, where traffic is quite audible, so I’d ask in advance which room you’ll get. They can provide a fan if you’d rather keep the window shut, but coming from a city like Madrid, you may want it open since Cantabria’s temperatures are ideal for that.

Mar was always on hand and so kind, helping make our stay feel perfect. We spent four days as a couple and loved the accommodation. It’s a genuine country house, decorated with care throughout, from the bedroom and shared spaces to the spectacular garden. Breakfast was delicious. The location is peaceful and puts many charming villages and places of interest within easy driving distance.

The owner looked after everything so attentively and made us feel at home. The rooms were wonderful and very clean, and the gardens are beautiful, peaceful places to relax. It’s also near places of interest like Lierganes, Santander, and Cabarceno. We spent a few days here and thought it was a ten-star place. If we’re back in Cantabria, we’ll stay again.
