After long days on the trail, the kitchen at Casa Batit was such a welcome place to cook. It was warm and fully stocked, and I made one of my favorite meals there: vegetable risotto with local peppers, fresh zucchini, a splash of white wine, and warm village bread. A kind woman at the little nearby grocery had beautiful produce, which made cooking even more enjoyable. The bedrooms are small, but quiet and restful. The owner’s kindness seems to reach every corner of the house. Casa Batit has that calm Camino spirit, a place to stop and catch your breath when you need it. A meal, a smile, and a peaceful night here can feel like grace.

I was so reluctant to leave Casa Batit. The house is warm and lovely, and such a nice place to relax. It was clean, orderly, and well appointed throughout. Carmen was wonderful and ready to help with anything we needed. I loved staying here. If I could give it 10 stars, I would!

The house has a lovely old-fashioned feel and is typical of the area. Our double room had its own bathroom, and we stayed for a couple of nights. There’s lots of shared space, plus a kitchen with everything you need, and the whole place was very clean. Carmen was lovely and suggested several places to visit. Good value, too.

We felt completely at home here. Carmen was warm and very helpful, and the house was clean. The kitchen was spotless and had everything we needed. I’d happily recommend it.
