La Posada Nueva

I was exhausted and forgot to photograph the rooms, but room A was clean and neatly arranged. One entrance led to two separate rooms sharing a full bathroom, which worked perfectly for our family of three. The short video shows the view from our window. Cristina, the owner, and her assistant Becky made a delicious homemade six-course dinner at 7 p.m. I was busy chatting with the other pilgrims and only got three sample shots of the meal. Breakfast time can be adjusted to suit the pilgrims, which is a real plus since not every place offers that. We ate at 8: milk, coffee, bread, butter, jam, jamón serrano, boiled eggs and homemade madalaines, which were to die for. It might not sound like much, but it was plenty for us, and everything was fresh and delicious. Cristina is excited to learn English and works hard to make her home a welcoming place to stay. As at other places we've visited, communication is still improving, but once we arrived everything went well. Cristina and Becky are attentive, sweet, welcoming and kind. I'd stay here again!

There was vomit in the dorm, the bed smelled of it, and there were several long hairs. The meal was the worst, so I bought instant food, but was told it couldn't be heated either. Dinner for one adult and three children cost 80 euros. The Wi-Fi didn't work in the second-floor dorm. People shouldn't come to a place like this.

This was our second stay here, on our second Camino. We were made to feel at home by Elizabeth and Cristina, with the help of Google Translate, and our room was comfortable. The shower was awesome. The room on the side of the house facing the road was a little noisy, and there was no air conditioning. It was Sunday, and nothing was open in this quaint little village, so don't rely on Google's opening times. There are three bars within a short walk.

La Posada Nueva lived up to expectations. The pilgrims' dinner was the most beautiful food.
