A friendly host showed us around, shared stories about the house, village, and area, and even made breakfast for us in the morning. The room was high standard, with a modern bathroom, while the preserved interior and some original furnishings kept the old character of the building. It's a small hotel in a quiet mountain village, with just three rooms, a shared room, and a kitchen. We were the only guests that night, but with more people around, it seems like a lovely place to meet others and sit by the fireplace. There was no internet, which added to the peaceful, authentic feel. I'd definitely come back. Thanks for a great stay.

We ended up leaving after two days and finding another place, losing €280 in the process. We'd read the positive reviews, but this was a disaster, and we lost four days of accommodation because there was nobody there to help. After payment, the host seemed to ignore us. On the second day, he turned off the heating. When we called, he said the room thermostat would bring it back on below 20 degrees Celsius. It was 5 degrees Celsius outside, so 20 indoors already felt cool in the middle of autumn. He offered no help, like coming to switch on the boiler, and just said that was how it worked. There were plenty of problems with the room, too. The shower had black mold and needed scrubbing, its screen didn't close properly, and the bathroom floor was dirty. The sheets were dirty and smelled bad, there was lint and dust under the mattresses, and cobwebs hung from the lamps. The mattresses were so hard that after the first night I woke up feeling like a wall bracket. I'm surprised by the positive reviews. Anyone who wants to see for themselves can book, and anyone who trusts the bad reviews won't be disappointed. They charged my card but didn't even give me a receipt.

The village is small but pretty, and the location is quite good. Pets are allowed, and the shared kitchen has everything you need. The owner is friendly, though he seemed less pleased when I politely suggested a few improvements. The accommodation could use more cleaning and attention. The oven, microwave, and other kitchen appliances were filthy, with food scraps that looked very recent. The wooden walls also mean you can hear everyone walking around.
