I went in expecting a good Menorcan meal on the last night of an otherwise wonderful stay in Menorca. That didn't happen. The salad was basically mashed tuna and mayonnaise with a few vegetables and lemon. The stuffed aubergine and its patates were dried out and tasteless, with hardly any aubergine flavor. When I raised it, the only reply was, “Sorry! Yes, I know.” The waitress eventually agreed not to charge me for the dish after I insisted. I won't return. Skip this restaurant. For just a little more, you can try the food at Ca Na Pilar at the other end of the village.

The portions are on the small side, but they were still satisfying. We ate in a lovely terraced garden with views over fields and vineyards, and both the delicious food and excellent wine were highlights.

The food was bland, with meat and vegetable dishes that had very little flavor, and the service was below par. I was disappointed after reading the other reviews. The place itself is beautiful, and it may still be better than hotel food.

Service was very good and the view was lovely. The Menorcan cheese was the standout, though the rest of the food was good rather than great. I'd rate it 3.5 if that were an option.

Pere was a really kind host, and we were completely happy with the service. The hostal sits in a quiet area, with a few shops and restaurants nearby.
