Agroturismo Son Alzines

We loved having dinner in the cozy room with stone walls, and the food was wonderful. The views and property are beautiful, and the accommodations were spacious, clean, and comfortable, with kitchenettes. Such a gorgeous place, and our favorite stop on our trip around Mallorca.

The location is beautiful and peaceful, and the food and drinks were good. We also loved seeing the goats and sheep. But it’s very isolated, with no other shops or restaurants nearby, so you’re tied to the house’s schedule and rules. Since we were on bikes, we would have appreciated more flexibility. Some staff were cold and wouldn’t accommodate simple requests, like having dinner on the terrace. At times, one person was left to cook and serve the meals, and it showed. In our apartment’s main bathroom there was no door, which was fine, but the drainage problem made the bidet smell really bad. Luckily, we could move to the second room. Most of these were fairly small issues, but the smell was bad. Friendlier, more accommodating service would have made us feel much better about staying here.

The rooms and the whole property have been renovated in a lovely mix of old and new, with a real sense of quality. We arrived late, after the restaurant’s regular hours, and the staff were especially friendly. They even cooked a late dinner for us. I’ll definitely come back.

We stayed here in June, and the property was very clean and well looked after. Our room stayed cool without needing the AC. The pool was a highlight, especially with that gorgeous mountain view, and dinner was tasty, made with high-quality ingredients. A really unique experience!
