We stopped for one night on the way to the UK. It’s close to the motorway, and there was free, secure parking. The room was warm and comfortable, and Laura at reception was incredibly nice and spoke excellent English. My Spanish was so terrible that I felt embarrassed! There’s a restaurant serving tea, dinner and breakfast. We’ll definitely stay again.

They no longer take pets. I cancelled after 10 minutes and am still waiting for the refund they promised. I’ve emailed three times without a reply. Looking at the reviews, I’m not the only one who’s made an expensive mistake in a very short stay.

We stayed at Hotel Sukha with our cat on the way to our holiday, and the hotel and room were adequate. The vegetarian lasagna in the restaurant, though, was really bad. A week later we booked and paid for another stay on the return trip, since there wasn’t much choice when travelling with a pet. Only after that did the hotel tell us they no longer accepted pets. We had to find somewhere else. I sent several emails, but got no further response or refund. Such a terrible way to treat customers. One star is too generous.

We stayed for the Europa League final, and the location made getting into Bilbao easy. The rooms were very clean, the beds super comfortable, and the staff at both the hotel and cafe were friendly.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was really big and clean, with a huge bathroom and decent air conditioning. The area was quiet, and the hotel sits between Bilbao and San Sebastián.
