Holidays Domus Iano

We never got to stay, so I can’t comment on the house itself. Our paid reservation was canceled just four days before the trip, despite the owner having assured us it would be available. Two months earlier, he had tried to change the booking and offered another place, which made me think he might not have had availability, but he never told us that. When the cancellation finally came, we couldn’t reach him by phone or WhatsApp. Booking.com customer service was excellent and fortunately helped us. I wouldn’t trust this place to keep a holiday booking. For tourists who don’t speak Spanish: your reservation could be canceled only a couple of days before arrival, without warning.

It’s a basic, simple house, and the owner lives next door. For what’s offered, I found it expensive. I also think the first five-star reviews being from the owners and their friends is unprofessional and amounts to falsifying opinions. I’ve changed my rating to two stars for the accommodation and one for the rude manager, Mr. Carlo Testa. (CARLO TESTA, owner and five-star review) Don’t treat guests like they’re fools.

We found the stay better than expected, largely because the owners were so unusually warm and helpful. They were always smiling, and the rooms were bright, peaceful, and clean. The service was top-notch. I’ll definitely return.

Nothing fancy, but it was clean and fine for a night’s sleep. The town location was quiet.
