The sunny garden behind the house was a lovely place to spend time, and downstairs there's a kitchen and sitting room with a fireplace. This stone cottage keeps its original wooden ceilings and structure, with period furniture throughout. It has five roomy en-suite bedrooms, available individually or as a whole house for self-catering, and the beds are firm and cozy. The location makes a handy base for exploring northern Spain: Bilbao, Vitoria, Burgos, Santander and the beaches at Laredo are all about an hour away. A great place to visit.

We had a great time here with friends. There's a garden and barbecue, plus parking, and the house is roomy, clean, and well placed. Great for a group getaway, highly recommend it.

Inma was so lovely and gave us suggestions for routes, places to visit, and restaurants, and every one of them was spot on. The house itself was spotless and charming, with a huge garden, plenty of parking, and a great location. We had an extraordinary weekend with friends, family, and children. Definitely recommend it, and we'll come back.

A lovely choice for unwinding somewhere quiet and little known, with few crowds. The owner treats you like family. You're in a leafy village, surrounded by rural life and farm work, but historic towns and some of the finest Romanesque architecture on the Iberian Peninsula are close by. A traditional house and proper rural tourism. Highly recommended.

Thanks, Inma! I loved having the garden to enjoy, one of the best things I've done this year c: The house is a pretty, rustic little place, cozy and clean, surrounded by greenery and life, with really friendly service. It was such a treat to wake up to coffee and a delicious sobao pasiego. Hiking trails are easy to reach from the house.
