Apartamentos Terraza Ega

There’s a private balcony with an amazing river view, and blackout blinds on every window helped us get a great night’s sleep. We stayed one night while traveling the Camino de Santiago and had wonderful service, breakfast, and everything we needed, including a washer for laundry. Absolutely recommend it.

We booked this for a night on the Camino De Santiago and were so glad we did. After one night in an Albergue, where stays are usually limited to a single night, we wanted somewhere to spread out and rest before walking again. The apartment was far better for that than a hotel, and much more beautiful than the pictures suggest. It’s a lovely place to unwind and enjoy the culture and scenery of this charming Spanish town. We’d booked it because it’s across the street from Ailez Masajes, where we had a great massage. The apartment is impeccable and soooo clean, with a washing machine, full kitchen, modern bathroom, and nice beds. Breakfast is included at the cafe downstairs, and the private terrace looks over the river toward the old church and hillside. The apartment is above Lopez Panaderia/Cafeteria, a fabulous cafe with amazing food and drinks, and the same owners run both. Raquel and Javier were super friendly and helpful. I was unsure how to get in because Booking.com didn’t explain the entry details. It turned out to be simple: go to Lopez Cafeteria, mention your reservation, and they’ll give you a code and show you where everything is. We arrived very early, but they let us sit in the cafe and enjoy the food and drinks. I’d been skeptical about booking an entire apartment since I’d only booked hotels before, but it was a great decision.

The hosts were very attentive, the apartment was well equipped, and breakfast was delicious. It’s conveniently located near the city center.

The apartment was immaculate, and Javier was exceptionally helpful and polite.
