The rooms were clean and comfortable, and there was parking alongside the hotel. It’s a good place within walking distance of the historical quarter. We were told check-in started at 3pm, but when we arrived at 4pm the hotel was closed, and other guests were waiting too. The desk opened at 5pm. The man there was lovely, but checking in took a long time. They should update the check-in times so guests aren’t caught out.

A lovely, quiet place. Try to get a room with a river view.

I slept well after a tiring journey in a bright, clean, cosy room. The reception staff gave us such a warm welcome, thank you so much 💙💛 Breakfast was wonderful too, with delicious choices for all tastes, plus aromatic coffee, juice, or tea. I highly recommend this hotel 🤗

We came as six cyclists, and the owner looked after us really well. She gave us great advice about places to go in town and, with her extensive experience in the wine trade, helped us learn about the region. Her name was Lena, I think, though I may have it wrong. There’s a great bar for a drink when you arrive and excellent bike storage. Breakfast was delicious, with a great choice, and our modern, clean rooms had very comfortable beds.

Karim was the highlight of a great stay. He was professional, friendly, and available when I was having a bit of trouble, and even used his free time to help me. He was serious and conscientious throughout. The place itself was superb, with a spacious room and all the comforts.
