Bakour Oh Nice Costa del Sol

The animation team was the highlight of our week with the family. They kept everyone going with games, dancing and other activities through the day, and the night entertainment was great too, with the team getting people up to dance. They included the kids and made sure people of all ages were having a good time. Irina was especially kind and made sure we joined in, which helped make the holiday unforgettable. The pool was huge and clean, and getting a sunbed beside it in the morning was easy. The hotel itself was amazing and we all had a brilliant stay. Food was the one letdown. It wasn't terrible, just didn't stand out, though we could manage with the food at the pool bar. We'll definitely be back, thanks for a great stay.

The animation crew worked hard all day and night, with games, songs and dancing that we all enjoyed. Claudia and Iraina were especially brilliant. We'd love to know the name of that hotel song they played so often, the one that goes “Amore, Amore”! We had a lovely family holiday and couldn't fault the hotel's cleanliness, friendly staff or modern rooms. Ours overlooked the pool and was in a great spot. The hotel is a bit far from amenities, though, and an on-site shop or mini market would help. The food was tasty, with lovely fresh fruit and bread, but the dishes were much the same most days. Dinner at 19.00 hrs was late for our young children, who were hungry by 17.00hrs. They loved the mini disco, but 21.00 hrs was late for them too. Tea at 5pm and the kids' disco at 7pm would work better. All-inclusive alcoholic drinks were available from 10am to midnight. Thanks to everyone for their hard work.

There wasn't anything to do or see nearby, and nowhere was within walking distance. The drinks machines were consistently poor too. The entertainment team, though, was fantastic. Everyone was so friendly, and their shows and activities were the best part of my stay. I'd absolutely recommend them. The food let me down: it was often cold, the selection wasn't great, and some dishes ran out several times.

The apartment was a happy surprise. We expected a basic room with extra beds for our family of four, but got a clean one-bedroom flat with air conditioning and a first-floor balcony. The pool was amazing and clean, though some of the sunbeds were broken or very worn. Staff at both the upstairs bar and pool bar were lovely and helpful, and the cocktails tasted like proper cocktails, even on the all-inclusive plan. Our first impression at reception wasn't great because we weren't given much information. Once our room was ready, the gentleman on duty explained what we needed to know. While waiting, we had lunch downstairs, and a lovely woman served us at the table and told us to sit comfortably while she brought our drinks. The upstairs bar also serves lovely coffee and cava, included in all-inclusive. First day impressions are great! We're a family of four with children aged 14 and 10, checking in Sunday.
