Estepona Hotel & Spa Resort

The rooms are really spacious, and the resort has a lovely relaxed feel. The pool area is beautiful, with plenty of space around the chairs, so there’s no need to reserve a deckchair. Staff were so friendly and kind, nothing was too much trouble. The beach is very close, and the port is nearby too. A great stay, really recommend it.

The only drawback was the distance from town. Otherwise, we had a lovely relaxed resort stay. We were welcomed as the first guests of the season, and the staff were friendly throughout. Our spacious room looked over the whole garden and pool area, with the ocean on the horizon. Breakfast was excellent. I’d highly recommend it for a quiet resort holiday.

It’s such a relaxing, pretty place, with lovely unspoilt walks along the seafront. We were there for the last two weeks in June, and it wasn’t busy at all. There seemed to be more staff than guests, and honestly we wondered how they made money. The hotel is right on the beach and the staff were all lovely, especially Antonina at the restaurant front of house. We found the food good, though a bit limited, so we drove into Estepona port for a change. We never used the spa. We had a car and bought lunches and drinks at the local Aldi, but also ate and drank on site every day. We spent about £450 over an eight night stay. On arrival they offer an €89 package, with an allowance of €33 each for one meal other than breakfast, either lunch or dinner, car parking, six soft drinks a day from the minibar, and spa entry, which is €10 each time. The on site car park is €20 per night. There’s free parking on the road outside, and we always found a space.

The pool area was nice, very hot, with lots of lovely parasols. You can get drinks and food brought over, or order at the bar, and breakfast had a good selection. It’s a little way out of town, but a taxi costs only 8 euros. We struggled to get a taxi one day, though luckily we had a hire car.
