Apartamentos Ferrera Pins

Antonio, the host, was brilliant. When we had concerns, he was available to reassure us or provide help and details. We stayed in August 2022, and the apartments suited our school-age family well. The pool stayed as quiet as it looks in the photos, even in peak season, and the beach was a five-minute walk away. Our apartment was clean, matched the photos, and had useful things like salt and pepper. It was cleaned during our stay, with fresh towels and sheets. We didn’t find it noisy, despite what some other reviews said. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, so you don’t need to go into central Cala D'Or, though it’s only a 15-20 minute walk if you do. We’d recommend these apartments.

The facilities and amenities in the apartment were good, and without the cockroaches the accommodation would have been adequate. Unfortunately, we left after one night because of them. We were promptly given a partial refund and told the flat had been fumigated in the past, and that cockroaches were common in ground-floor flats. Even though the host apologised and refunded part of the cost, we were unhappy not to receive the full amount. Finding somewhere else at the last minute, late at night, added a lot of stress and ended up costing much more. The host didn’t offer alternatives or suggestions, and we didn’t feel there was much empathy for our situation. The experience made the holiday much more expensive and stressful, so I’m giving two stars.

The apartment and pool were lovely and had everything we needed. It was an easy walk to both the city center and the beach. Communication before we arrived and during the stay was very effective. Antonio was kind and helped us print our boarding passes when we ran into trouble. It was also easy to arrange an airport transfer with him instead of booking online. We stayed at Ferrera Pins for a week and everything was perfect. Definitely recommend staying here.

We’ve just had our third holiday at Ferera pins apartments. The apartments are clean and well kept, and the surroundings are quiet. The pool is only a few steps away and never overcrowded, sometimes it feels like you have it to yourself. The staff are so friendly and helpful, and always available if you need anything. It’s great for families, couples, or solo travelers.
