Apartamentos Azul Playa

The peaceful atmosphere made us feel well looked after, and the staff were genuinely lovely. They made us feel welcome and relaxed, while the cleaners were kind and did a great job every day. When I needed to wash some clothes, they went out of their way to help. The outdoor pool was clean and well maintained, and it was lovely to have a warm indoor pool and sauna too. The lifeguard especially stood out: he kept a close watch on the pool and was ready to help, which made us feel safe. My friend also had a massage and found it very relaxing. My friend and I had a wonderful stay on our trip to Majorca, and we'd definitely recommend it.

Angel at reception made us feel welcome right away. He arranged taxi transfers, helped with our luggage, found extra bedding when we needed it and was always there with advice. The views were spectacular, the pool was quiet with plenty of sunbeds, and our room was bright, airy and in good condition. We got clean towels daily, and beach towels were available for a refundable deposit. There are lots of steps around the property, which could be difficult if you have mobility issues. There's a breakfast option on site and a kiosk selling drinks at very reasonable prices. Bars and restaurants are only metres away. A perfect location, and I'll definitely come back.

We stayed at Azul Playa from 2nd to 7th Nov, arriving by local bus from the airport. It was punctual and much cheaper than arranging a transfer. The apartment was clean, ideal for self catering and well equipped. Our pool and spa were open, and most days we had them to ourselves. We were lucky with the 24° weather, and the beach was just steps away. The area was starting to close for winter, so our dining options were limited, but the lady at reception was very knowledgeable and helpful. The location was beautiful, with pretty coves and plenty of places to explore on foot.

We slept really well thanks to the very good mattress, which made a big difference. The studio was clean and well located for reaching the nearby beaches, and the appliances were in good condition. Reception and breakfast staff were friendly, and housekeeping cleaned thoroughly and quietly. We didn't have to wake up to vacuum cleaners in nearby rooms. We had a very good stay and may come back. Thanks for the hospitality! A few things could be improved. There was a strange damp, pipe-like or wet metal smell in the room, although we hadn't used the AC. Keeping the door or window open while we were in helped make it bearable. The safe didn't work. We would have liked to know that at check-in, and although we reported it and the front desk confirmed it was broken, nobody took further steps to fix it. If having a safe is a must, check in advance. Breakfast had a small selection and no vegetables at all, though what was available tasted good and was enough to get our day started.
