Son Menut

Son Menut works for all sorts of stays, whether you're new to riding, experienced, or just looking for a quiet break away from the crowds. It's also suitable for solo visitors and families, and can be hired for special events. The countryside setting is beautiful, about 30 minutes from Palma. The grounds are thoughtfully laid out, with clean, comfortable, spacious rooms, friendly and attentive service, and fantastic food. The stables and riding facilities are premium quality. As of June 2025, the stables had 70 horses. I had about 1.5-2 hours of lessons each day, with a programme tailored to my level. There are two outdoor arenas, a large indoor arena, and another space for groundwork, so there's room and equipment for everything from basics to jumping and dressage. Hand on heart, this was the best instruction I've had, along with some of the best food. I'll absolutely be back within the next year. Thanks to everyone, and especially Anissa, my favorite horse!

The riding lessons were fun and educational, with amazing horses, and the place clearly cares about animals. The staff were wonderful, and the food was amazing too. I felt sad to leave, because Son Menut has taken a piece of my heart. It's a lovely spot for horse lovers or anyone wanting to relax. Such a special travel experience, and I'll most definitely be back next year!

The staff were so lovely that I felt like a guest in their home. The food was fantastic, traditional, and just right after training. The horses seemed happy and healthy, and were well trained. I joined the beginner program for a week and really enjoyed it. The lessons helped me progress, and the instructor deserves a special mention for being patient, competent, and genuinely attentive to the riders' wellbeing. Cala d’Or is about a 25-minute ride away, so I managed to swim at the beach on a few days. Five out of five, I'd absolutely recommend Son Menut.

I spent two weeks here with my 10-year-old daughter, and we both had a great time. We improved a lot thanks to the excellent riding instruction, and the staff made the experience feel personal. The location is special too, in a quiet, beautiful part of the Mallorcan countryside, away from the very touristy areas. We'll definitely return!
