The food was delicious, and the staff were warm and accommodating. We loved how personal and homey the place felt, and the whole finca, rooms included, smelled amazing throughout our stay. We'd absolutely come back.

We had a lovely time cooling off in the pool, and the breakfast spread was great. The staff were lovely too. Our room at Son Valls was nice, with both air-conditioning and a ceiling fan.

We first came across Son Valls while cycling a few years back and were really disappointed when it closed. This year we were surprised to find it open again with new management. The new manager was so friendly, and we had a really nice coffee and ice cream. It's a beautiful spot in a superb location, with gardens and a pool that are very well kept. A friend had left behind a map and glasses, and when we came back a few days later, they were returned to us. Definitely worth a visit.

The villa itself is lovely and clearly well cared for, and the staff are great. The setting, though, felt pretty lifeless to us. Nearby towns were much more run down than we'd expected and didn't have much atmosphere. If you're happy with a quiet holiday and driving 30-40 minutes for dinner, this could suit you. There's a simple, hippie feel here, so don't expect daily room service or toiletries. It's more about living simply.
