Giuseppe was kind and very helpful, a wonderful host. We stayed two nights while hiking locally, and the village felt beautiful and off the beaten track. It’s rustic, very comfortable and clean, with stunning views and a super quiet setting. Breakfast was wholesome and outstanding. We enjoyed the clean mountain air on a lovely evening stroll to dinner in a nearby village. Highly recommend.

The casitas are lovely little stone houses set into a hillside garden, with a charming bedroom, en suite bathroom and private terrace with wonderful views. The garden is lush, mature and beautifully maintained, and everything was spotlessly clean. I spent three nights at Sierra y Mar and found it perfect for recharging, though it’s also popular with walkers. The breakfasts were excellent, and there are some excellent, unusual restaurants nearby. Service, surroundings, quiet, privacy and quality were all top notch for an affordable price. Five stars, no less.

We could set off on many hikes right from our room and be surrounded by nature the whole time. Sepp and Angela made us feel at home, while keeping the necessary measures in place for a Covid-Safe stay. Breakfast was generous, with homemade food and freshly baked bread. We had a great time at the beautiful Sierra y Mar. Muchas Gracias!

We had the best b&b experience of our trip in the alpujarras. The rooms and beds were lovely, the views amazing, and breakfast delicious. Add the chance to enjoy nature and wonderful hosts like sepp & Angela, and there’s no reason to hesitate about booking at Sierra y Mar!

The owner will help you plan the stunning walks that start right from the door. The gardens are beautiful too, and a perfect place to enjoy breakfast. I couldn’t have felt more at home.
