If you're fine with tour guides coming into your hotel, this may be the place for you. Condenast got this so wrong! The beautiful Hacienda-like grounds clash with the cheap modern IKEA decor, and it's a real letdown. The rooms are small, poorly decorated, unfinished-feeling and claustrophobic. Remote-controlled ceiling windows were obnoxious, the beds uncomfortable and the pillows awful. We just wanted to get out. The bar and breakfast area are discouraging too. The pool seemed nice, apart from the horrible circus tent beside it. There aren't individual umbrellas, so you share the tent with 15 other chairs. We're already considering cutting the trip short or finding other accommodation. I'd give dinner four stars, but that's about it.

The kitchen team made our three-day stay: they were amazing, attentive and thoughtful. The second chef decorated dishes with flowers and plants from the gardens, the waitress knew the cuisine inside out, and her chef, with French influences, was a true professional. There was a small mix-up when we changed rooms, and we were without one for a while because we didn't know which room we were meant to have. The kitchen team sorted it out elegantly. We were sorry not to be included in the Midsummer's Eve festivities to watch the celebration from a special vantage point, though it was kind of them to offer. It's a fantastic, completely peaceful place with professional staff.

I had a confirmed reservation through TUI Italy from January 2022, but when I called Ca Na Xini in June, they said it didn't exist. If I hadn't checked, I could have been left without accommodation. It's a shame, as I really wanted to stay there. Terrible management by both TUI and the agriturismo. Avoid TUI.

The menu was lovely and made with excellent local produce, and the setting was very pleasant. The room was adequate, though nothing special, and there was no full-length mirror. For the price, they seemed to have missed some details: no bottled water, and everything costs extra. That's a shame.

We ate delicious food at a great value, and the servers were friendly. The restaurant has a very pleasant setting, with chic but neutral decor. Truly fantastic.
