We slept really well with the window open and the cool air coming in, though there were lots of seagulls around. The room was clean and comfortable. No AC, and the shampoo and shower gel were fine, but there was no toothbrush.

After a long day of travel, the bed and shower were just what I needed, and breakfast was plentiful and good. The after-hours check-in was a real hassle: the keypad wasn't working, so getting into the hotel took a lot of effort.

The reception staff, including Juan Carlos, were excellent, and the location made it easy to reach local services and the English Way. I liked the contrast between the hotel's quaint historic exterior and its more modern feel inside. My room was clean and tidy, and I rested comfortably. Breakfast was good too. The bathroom was fine, though having to climb into the bath to shower wasn't ideal.

A lovely old building, kept clean, and a great breakfast. A good place to stop.
