I booked through Booking.com with free cancellation, but the accommodation still charged €150 to my card. I rang several times and kept getting excuses instead of a refund. I’ve never had anything like this happen before. It felt like a complete rip-off :(

The place was nothing like the photos, which are of the Xunta building. The apartment is entirely internal, with no Wi-Fi or elevator. They also demanded an extra €20 for a late arrival, even though check-in runs until midnight and we got there at 6:30 p.m. The whole thing felt like a scam, and it was easily the worst place I’ve stayed.
