The balcony was the one tiny drawback, it was so small a chair wouldn’t fit. Everything else made this probably the best stay we’ve ever had, and we’ve traveled quite a lot. The staff were attentive and helpful, and we felt at home. It’s right in the city centre and still quiet, a five-minute walk to the Dali theatre and 25 minutes on foot from the train station. We went in January, so the rooftop was closed, but staff told us beforehand. Our room was breathtakingly beautiful, as was the rest of the hotel. It had a walk-in bathroom in a partly open space, which might not suit everyone, but we loved it. There’s a sliding door and a thick curtain for privacy. Everything was spotless, and the furniture looked carefully chosen for its detail and quality. There was a coffee machine and bathroom amenities, and the room warmed up nicely even in January. The walls are thick, so we couldn’t hear anything from other rooms. It’s a must for Dali enthusiasts, and the quality equipment and service should satisfy everyone. Highly recommended!

Hans at reception gave us a really warm welcome and was exceptionally helpful. This beautiful boutique hotel faces a quiet pedestrian alley in the old town of Figures. Our room was comfortable and distinctive, and you can tell a lot of effort has gone into making a stay feel special. The lounge, bar and pool in the communal areas are all very stylish.

The team made the stay for me. From reception to housekeeping, everyone was welcoming, courteous and genuinely helpful. Reception is staffed until midnight, and they explained the straightforward after-hours entry arrangements when we arrived. I’m very grateful for their hospitality. The apartment was immaculate and well equipped, with a microwave combi oven, induction hob, sink, fridge, utensils, pots and pans, plates, glasses, bowls and cutlery. The bed was extremely comfortable, a large window brought in lots of daylight, and the lighting made the place feel warm in the evening. The hotel itself is stylish and clearly inspired by Salvador Dalí. The communal spaces have lovely soft furnishings and bold artistic prints, the patio has a striking Dalí-style installation running the full height of the building, and the roof bar and pool are great places to unwind. There’s plenty around the hotel. It’s about a 20-minute walk from the station, with a taxi rank if you prefer. The hotel sits in a lively square with shops, coffee spots and restaurants. Its attached restaurant is excellent and very reasonably priced, and there are plenty of other places for different budgets, plus local supermarkets for self-catering. The Dalí Theatre-Museum is a five-minute walk away, with other Dalí museums nearby. The Toy Museum of Catalonia is a minute away, the Empordà Museum is next door, and there’s also a Museum of the History of Telecommunications nearby. The luminous fountain a minute from the hotel looks spectacular lit up at night. Shops usually stay open until around 9pm, though some close for a long lunch, and the town comes alive in the evening. The wellness suite has massages and jacuzzis at very reasonable extra prices. The hotel combines style, comfort, culture and location, and I’ll definitely book again. Thank you to everyone at Hotel Divino. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We had a wonderful time in town, and the location was just lovely. We were here as a family for our son’s wedding at the castle. The restaurant quickly arranged 10 tables for a meal, and the food was great. All three rooms were neat and efficient, and both the entrance staff and rooftop were great. Thanks, cc.

The hotel is conveniently close to good cafes and restaurants, the Teatre Museo Dali and Figueres train station. What made it especially memorable for us was the service team. Carolina, Monika, Dragos, Hans and Mayara were professional and passionate about their work, and made our stay and time in Figueres memorable.
