The owners are really friendly, and both the town and the countryside around it are lovely. The house has been fully renovated inside and is well equipped, while keeping its rustic feel on the outside. Highly recommended.

The village is calm and welcoming, with forest all around and great conditions for hiking. We stayed in a lovely traditional stone house, and the owner was very kind.

Filiel sits among Roman mining sites where gold was extracted. It's in the middle of La Maragatería, the old Somoza region, at the foot of the Telenu mountains, 2188 m high, part of the Aquil·lans or 'Montes de León' group, known locally as the 'Sierra'. This is a typical Maragata rural house in a privileged spot, in the 'maragato orchard'.

There’s plenty of room in the kitchen and living room, and the country house has 3 bedrooms plus 2 full bathrooms. The surrounding area is spectacular. Highly recommended.
