This charming restored village house in Finestrat has plenty of space. It includes two air-conditioned bedrooms, a bathroom, a separate WC, and a laundry room. There’s a capsule coffee maker, hot water, bed linen, and towels. The price is unbeatable.

I was left with a very bad impression of how reservations are handled. In the early morning, I emailed asking for information. Later that morning, you called and said you were busy in a very important meeting. I politely said we had the whole day to sort out the booking, so there was no need to rush and you could get on with your business. At midday, you emailed to say the dates were available and that I could transfer the deposit. I agreed to the terms and conditions and said so. Then at 4 pm, when I called, you changed your mind and told me I could just take what I had, if I wanted. If Booking.com is your preferred way to book, why not tell me that at the start instead of beating around the bush? Why try to get me to change dates to fill empty days in that house? To put it mildly, this reservation process feels like a game of tic-tac-toe. Thanks for the compliment, but the experience was still very negative.

It’s in excellent condition and very well equipped. There’s air conditioning in both the bedrooms and the dining room, and it’s wonderfully warm at this time of year.

The house has what you need, including air conditioning. The only awkward part is loading and unloading your luggage, since you have to leave the car farther down in a parking lot the owner lets you use.
