Los Viejitos en Firgas

We slept really well, and the bed was very comfortable. The apartment itself is fine, and the gentleman looking after us was friendly. The views are fantastic and the rooms were clean, but some things need replacing: the bedding, the cutlery (we only had one knife), and the bedroom TV, which he said had been broken for a while. The terraces also need a clean. There’s a lot of clutter, and it isn’t pleasant to look at. I have mixed feelings.

The pool has incredible views, and every room has a private jacuzzi. There’s also a barbecue you can use whenever you want, and Uncle Agustín will even light it for you. He welcomed us with lovely oranges for breakfast, a bottle of wine, and chocolates. I felt right at home. Agustín is cheerful, easy-going, delightful, and always ready to help with whatever you need. He’s practically my Uncle Agustín now. I can’t describe how wonderful we felt there.

What stood out most was Agustín, the owner, and his warm, attentive service. We wanted for nothing during our stay. The main villa worked well for our group of six, with three separate bedrooms, two double beds and two single beds, plus a spacious bathroom and a kitchen with all the necessary utensils. Its living room was a lovely place to chat, watch movies, or play board games together. The villa’s jacuzzi was the largest and most comfortable, with a built-in bench. There’s plenty to do on the property: an infinity pool with spectacular views of Arucas and La Isleta, a mini-gym, pétanque, and a football pitch. There’s free parking too. It felt like a perfect 10, an ideal spot for a peaceful stay with friends or family.

The setting at Los Viejitos in Firgas was beautiful, with nature all around and spectacular views that made it easy to relax. We were 12 friends spending the weekend, and the place felt welcoming from the moment we arrived, thanks to Agustín, the thoughtful touches, and the comfortable facilities. We enjoyed the fresh fruit from the organic orchard, the spotless pool and jacuzzi, and the barbecue. The adorable donkey Chispita and kittens wandering around the grounds were a lovely part of the stay. It was an ideal place to disconnect, share good moments, and recharge.
