Hotel Rural El Tejar de Miro

The owner was very pleasant and friendly, and we had a lovely weekend in this charming place. The village is small, but there's plenty to do nearby. We also really enjoyed the breakfast and the pool area.

This is a peaceful hotel with a pool and lovely gardens. There's a local tile-making museum inside, which gives the place a distinctive feel. Service and everything else was great, though I thought the portions of food on offer were too small.

Our children had a great time in the pool and garden during our few days here in August. We especially liked the calm atmosphere, the pool, the breakfasts, and the hospitality from the owner, María Jesús. Despite the fires in the area, we noticed nothing in the village or nearby, and everything seemed completely normal. We'll definitely return!

We had a delicious breakfast, and the Wi-Fi coverage was excellent. The rooms were clean and tidy and met our expectations. El Tejar is an excellent rural guesthouse, with very good service and attention. Outside, there's a well put-together display of the area's traditional tile-making process, from preparing the clay to firing it in period kilns. Now there's no excuse not to learn about this craft. There is space to park up to three cars on the premises, and if you can't find parking outside, it's no problem. A great experience that we'll repeat in the future. Installing an electric vehicle charging point would be highly recommended.
