The breakfast was brilliant, and homemade really means made right there with their own produce. Our room was spacious and immaculately clean, with the kind of countryside quiet you hope for. It felt about as elegant as a country hotel attached to a working farm can be. They welcomed us so kindly when we made a last-minute panic booking after our off-grid finca had no hot water.

The owners have been so welcoming and attentive, and the kids are delighted with everything to do here, from the trampolines and swings to the playground and animals. The farm and its pretty surroundings won us over as soon as we arrived today. It’s wonderfully peaceful and relaxing. Our apartment is spotless, with every supply we need, and the care taken over even the little details is remarkable. Highly recommend, especially for families with children.

We loved this place and would definitely recommend it. Day, who welcomed us, was so kind and gave us lots of good recommendations. The animals around the house are lovely, and falling asleep to their sounds was beautiful. It’s a cozy, clean, very family-friendly place, with new, really nice rooms. Breakfast is homemade and high quality. A lovely spot for families to enjoy the setting, the farm, and being around the animals. We stayed for five days and simply loved it!

The breakfast buffet runs until a generous 11:30 and has a varied selection of homemade and local treats. Joan and Day also offer guided walks, horse riding, and bike rental. Our room matched its description and had lots of handy drawers and storage. We slept very comfortably, with excellent blackout curtains, and the building was heated just right. Apart from the lovely dawn chorus, it was completely silent. The enormous house has private rooms and apartments, plus plenty of shared tables, chairs, sofas, and a communal fridge. Joan, Day, their family, pets, and animals made us feel very welcome. We only stayed overnight this time, but it’s a place worth spending a few days in.
