The breakfast was generous, with fresh local products, and the atmosphere felt very family-run. There’s a small rooftop pool, a cosy room with a fireplace, and another little space where you can sit with a book. The building has just been updated, so everything feels brand new. It’s a small place with four rooms right in the village centre, close to several kinds of restaurants. We’ll be back, Mr. Teixido!!!

The bed and shower were excellent, and breakfast was delicious. This recently renovated stone cottage sits right in the heart of Peretallada, with just four bedrooms. The rooms aren’t large, and everything is on the small side, even the tiny rooftop pool, but it’s all adorable. The owners were incredibly friendly!

We stayed four nights in June 2022, and the sound carries badly between rooms. From suite 3, we could hear ordinary conversations in suite 4; in the morning, children made it particularly annoying. They also didn’t replenish the shower gel or shampoo during our stay. Some interactions with the staff, especially one of the owners, left us uncomfortable. We paid €170 per night for four days, and check-out was at 11:00 AM. Our room wasn’t booked for the following day, but at 11:14 AM that owner came to the door. We left at noon and apologized, but he didn’t answer or even look at us. Perhaps he had already decided to charge €20 for those 60 minutes as a late check-out fee. If so, they should have told us in advance, so we could choose to enjoy the service and stay a little longer. And when someone apologizes, it’s polite to acknowledge them, at least with eye contact or a reply.

Right in the centre of Peratallada, this lovely hotel has plenty of charm. There are only four rooms, which gives it an intimate feel. The owners looked after us very well. The breakfast stood out, and the bed was super comfortable!
