Hotel Restaurant El Pati

We were glad we gave it a try. The food was delicious, and the service was good as well. It was busy and hot, and the staff were clearly working hard, so settle in with a drink and take your time. Ordering everything together seemed to help. The location is beautiful, and despite the reviews that had made me wary, I’d absolutely recommend eating here.

Just to be clear, we visited the restaurant, not the hotel. We arrived for a very late lunch and were welcomed with a choice of outdoor tables on a lovely day. The avocado salad and both kinds of duck tasted like carefully made home cooking, and everything was really good.

Dinner and drinks in that patio garden made for a memorable evening. I loved the character of the decor, and the atmosphere felt magical. The food, drinks, and service were all excellent. We also got to chat with the owner, Yolanda, and hope to see her again on our next visit to charming Peratallada. Highly recommended! ✨🍹

The view is nice, but you’ll need time to spare. Service was so slow that my young kid could’ve gone from kindergarten to university before the main courses arrived. Some food was overcooked and some undercooked. After I sent a dish back for being undercooked, they fixed it and it was okay. The bathroom sink barely ran, leaving you with soapy or dirty hands unless you waited ages for the few drops. Parts of the place need renovation. A forgettable meal.
