Insotel Hotel Formentera Playa

What really made this hotel stand out was the wonderful staff. We had a brilliant week and the location was fantastic. Our room was great, with a partial sea view, and the all-inclusive food was the best I've experienced on that kind of stay, with such a great selection of delicious dishes. There was great entertainment, two lovely outdoor pools, and an indoor pool too. Fantastic hotel.

This was our second stay. The hotel is quite nice without being especially luxurious, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and nice, and the location and views are fantastic. We chose all-inclusive. The meal times felt a bit dictated by the clock and more European than Spanish, so they were always slightly too early for us, though we got used to it. The buffet had lots of options and the rice was almost always really good. Freshly cooked dishes were sometimes great and sometimes less so, for example when the meat quality wasn't good. Drinks were nicely available, including wine, though the red, white, and sparkling wines were all pretty mediocre. The biggest thing I'd urge the hotel to improve is drinking water. At check-in they gave us two small bottles, then didn't replenish them, so we had to buy water to keep in the room. For an all-inclusive stay costing several thousand euros, that felt really cheap and left a bad impression. Providing small bottles with each cleaning wouldn't cost much. Aside from that, I can recommend the hotel, especially for families with kids or teens.

Brilliant location, and the whole hotel has air conditioning. It is a little dated and the rooms are small, but the animation team are great and friendly.

We went in mid September and found the hotel spotless, inside and out. Our superior room on the third floor was adequate for what we needed. The staff were very friendly, polite, and helpful, and the food was a very good standard. With nice beaches on both sides, it's well placed. We thought it was extremely good value and would return.
