I liked the location because it’s close to everything, and the apartment is very nice and seems to have been renovated. The landlord was friendly too. These are just some small things I noticed, some bothered me and others didn’t. You can get noisy neighbors with dogs, though I don’t know whether dogs are allowed in these rentals. During festivals like the Norman Festival, I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you need sleep. The festival is held at the port, which you can see from the terrace, and it gets very noisy. There’s a code for taking the elevator down to the garage, but you don’t need one to go back up. To leave the building, you have to press a button to open the door, or getting out can be difficult. When you drive into the garage, someone may be parked illegally in your spot, so you might have to ask them to move. The apartment has some practical problems too. The shower handle is nearly broken, there’s no ice tray or napkins, and there’s no bath mat for after a shower, so you have to use a hand towel. The soap bottles were half empty and hadn’t been refilled. There was only one small blue dishcloth for cleaning utensils, so the kitchen needs more. The TV remotes have dead batteries or no batteries at all. There’s no room to store food in the kitchen cabinets because they’re full of cleaning products, appliances, dishes, glasses, cooking utensils, floor mats and the washing machine. Only the refrigerator is available, so it’s best to bring your own toiletries, like shampoo, body wash and hand soap. The living room has large windows and a door to the patio or terrace, with blinds on all three windows but no shutters. The kitchen does have shutters. The children’s bedroom has three double beds and shutters, while the master bedroom has curtains but no shutters.
