Hotel Rural Los Chaparros

We had lunch there on Saturday, and the food was good. The dining room is large and was packed, so it’s clearly a popular place. They can accommodate small groups as well as big events. There’s a large car park, and it’s easy to find.

I can’t speak to staying at the hotel, though the prices look good. I’ve stopped at the bar many times while driving around the area. They make great coffee and give nice free tapas with alcoholic drinks. On warm days you can sit outside with a cool beer and tapas, and when it’s hot or cooler outside, there’s indoor seating. The restaurant food is really nice and good value, and they also offer a menu del dia at a great price, though I haven’t tried it yet. There’s a petrol station next door, which makes it a handy stop. I’ve used it as a local spot and to watch football matches. The staff are all efficient and friendly, and the tapas are excellent. Over the years, I’ve also had some good birthday meals with groups. The rooms all look very good.

The food was disgusting and too expensive. The water pipe was broken, so we couldn’t shower. The hotel knew there was a problem and told us to wait a few minutes, but that didn’t help.
