Burgos city centre is only 50 minutes away, and the house sits right in the village near the old Bridge, on a very quiet main road. It’s a lovely, well-equipped place in the beautiful, less well-known Sierra Demanda region. Jesus Maria was really nice, gave us good advice, and made us feel welcome. I’d recommend it to anyone interested in the area’s nature or culture.

The hiking trails through the beech forests nearby are beautiful. Four friends and I found Casa Fresnada on "Tus casas rurales" and had a really pleasant weekend there. The house felt welcoming and had everything we needed. Jesús María was especially attentive and generous. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Casa Fresneda was a great base for both unwinding and exploring the Sierra de la Demanda. The village is so peaceful, and we spent four lovely days there. The house had all the utensils we needed, plus thoughtful touches that made the stay comfortable. Jesús was a great host and always available. Highly recommended.

Jesús was very kind, and he even made us dinner on our first day. We stayed at Casa Fresneda for 8 days, and the house was very clean and had everything we needed for a pleasant visit, even rackets for the town's pelota court. I’d read there wasn’t a blender, but there was one while we were there. It’s a good choice if you want somewhere quiet, surrounded by nature, with hiking and interesting places to visit. Atapuerca is 42 minutes away.

The village is peaceful and works well for families with children. They can play in the park beside the house or on the pelota court. We’ve spent a few days at Casa Fresneda again this summer, and the Sierra de la Demanda nearby is ideal for hiking, trail running, or cycling. The house is very well-equipped, and we always appreciate our host Jesús María’s kindness. We’ll definitely come back.
