1039 Villa Cuatro Caminos

We spent three weeks at Cuatro Caminos, and there was plenty to enjoy outside: a lovely pool with views toward Nerja and Frigiliana, sun loungers and parasols, several spots on the terrace for meals, and lots of fruit trees and flowering plants. The terrace was very well maintained. There’s also an outdoor cooking area and sink. We used our griddle instead of the barbecue because of the fire risk. Around the house, we did lots of walks in beautiful scenery. Suzanne was welcoming, even though we only spoke through WhatsApp. We’d be glad to return. The house was very clean when we arrived, and the pool was cleaned every Saturday. It’s a pretty, traditional white house in the hills above Frigiliana, equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, and all the dishes and utensils we needed. The bedrooms are small and connected, so you have to pass through the main bedroom to reach the other one. That was fine for the two of us. The bathroom is attached to the first bedroom and has a spacious walk-in shower. We didn’t use the living or dining rooms, but there’s a TV, DVD player, and various channels. Wi-Fi was good. The drive climbs about 2.5 km on a steep, fairly narrow road. I managed it with a large car and a big trailer carrying a three-wheeled motorcycle, about 10 meters long. At the electric gate, there’s another narrow driveway about 30 meters down to the house. There’s a carport at the bottom and room to park at least three cars.
