The owner was so attentive and enthusiastic about the town. Breakfast is served in a colorful dining room downstairs, and there’s a cozy rooftop terrace with a pool and fantastic views over Frigiliana’s rooftops and the surrounding hills, all the way to the sea. This charming little hotel is in the old part of town, with its different rooms spread through one of the old houses. The breakfast was good too.

The rooms include a breakfast buffet with bread, cold cuts, cheese, eggs, cereal, fruit, coffee, and juice. There’s indoor and outdoor seating, but space is limited, so it’s first come, first served. The woman looking after breakfast was friendly and helpful. We chose to stay a night after reading earlier guest reviews, and the whole concept intrigued us. The access details made getting into the property and finding our room keys easy. From the moment we saw the front door, we were taken with the place. Reaching our ground-floor room meant walking through narrow steps, almost like going into a cave.

We had a very comfortable room and bathroom, with an outstanding view, and we enjoyed the rooftop pool. Restaurants for dinner are plentiful nearby, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Getting our luggage up the hill was a long haul. Breakfast was adequate, though nothing special.

The roof deck has amazing views, and the rooms are gorgeous. Breakfast was very nice, and you’re close to restaurants in town. Just be ready for a long walk from parking if you’ve got big bags. Highly recommend.

The roof terrace is amazing, and the rooms are beautiful. It’s a lovely place to stay, though there’s a bit of a walk uphill to reach it. A taxi can drive you up if you ask, but if you’re walking, pack light 😁. Lovely overall.
