Hotel Rural Almazara

We were staying at a nearby rural property and walked over to the hotel for dinner and drinks, so I can't comment on the rooms. From the balcony, the sea and mountain views made for a very pretty meal. The staff were friendly, lovely with our children, and really engaging. The food was sensational. My Grilled Calamari and Pil Pil Prawns were fresh and tasty, and the portion was huge. They also adjusted the menu for the kids, giving them a starter and fried potatoes, which was handy. I understand Spanish, so the menu translations weren't a problem for us, but some of the English descriptions didn't make sense or describe the dishes well. Maybe use Google Translate if you eat here. We had a fantastic meal and a lovely evening, and I'd definitely recommend it for food.

I only ate here, and it was a superb experience. The view was amazing, and the staff were warm, smiling, attentive, and very pleasant. The tapas to start, poussin for the main, and cream for dessert were all very good.

We stayed for three nights and will come back. The views are awesome, the room was clean, and they managed to put our two rooms right next to each other, which was helpful with the kids. The location worked perfectly for us, though getting there and around without a car might be hard. We rented one and had no trouble parking. The restaurant was really good. The food was fresh and delicious, especially the lasagne, and the servers were friendly and attentive. They clearly cared about their work, and the rest of the staff were very friendly too. Did I mention the views!

I wasn't impressed when they moved my payment date to literally the next day, so I cancelled. Their website should update the terms, since I had pre-booked expecting to book now and pay later.
