Villa Violeta Frigiliana - Nerja

We were visiting friends and really enjoyed the property and its setting.

A lovely place to relax, with fabulous views.

We stayed at Villa Suspiro from the 6th to the 13th, and it's incredible. The bedrooms are spacious, three have air conditioning, and the living room doesn't need it: opening the balcony door brings in a cool morning breeze that makes you want to cover up. The bathrooms are spotless and have everything you need, and you can see the sea in the distance. Everything was clean, and the house had absolutely everything. The mountain views and quiet location make for a wonderfully peaceful stay. Communication with Rebeca and Andrés was perfect; they're so kind and attentive. Rebeca makes sure everything is just right and came to welcome us. It felt like we'd known each other forever. She's a very warm, caring person. Honestly, I can't think of a single negative. We're Andrés and Nazaret, and we'll definitely return next year, God willing. Big hugs, Family.

The service was appalling, and I definitely won't return. Before we arrived, the owner seemed very friendly, but she didn't come to greet us or say goodbye. Later she messaged to say there were hairs on a sofa cover and that she'd charge me €60 for a more worn cover. When I disagreed and said that was outrageous, she blocked me on WhatsApp. The house needs a lot of improvement: there was no air conditioning in one bedroom or the living room, and it was incredibly hot with no trees or anything around. Lots of bugs got in, so we couldn't leave food out and had to throw it away. We had no Wi-Fi for the first three days, and the owner kept saying it was my problem. The pool was dirty because the filter only worked a few times.
